We develop and produce our products here, among other sites, and offer the widest range of state-of-the-art sensor technologies in the world.

Our technology is an important contributor to the safety of our roads and public spaces. In 2002, we expanded and moved from Düsseldorf to Monheim – without making any concessions in terms of transport connections, be it by road, rail, air or public transport, which also plays an important role. As a business, the town has much more to offer us than just the extremely attractive low trade tax rate. Our connections with the administration are excellent. We need to cooperate closely with them for many years, and we highly appreciate the pragmatic and non-bureaucratic approach to decision-making taken here.“

The City has taken many important steps, which helps us attract and retain highly skilled employees. Free-of-charge daycare is offered for children up to the age of 10 in kindergartens and schools, and the local schools have an excellent reputation that extends well beyond the city limits.

We produce about 30 million flash chips each month in the booming town of Shenzhen near Hong Kong.
