Monheim am Rhein identifies as a "City for Everyone", in which inclusion is comprehensively put into practice.
Every person should belong, irrespective of cultural background, religion, sex, age, health or residence status. It is important for everyone to be given equal opportunities for personal development and education. Two welfare associations, the Advisory Center (Beratungscentrum) and SKFM (Catholic social services organization) have been commissioned to provide these services in Monheim am Rhein, together with the city authorities.
The Advisory Center (Beratungscentrum) is an independent public welfare association. It has been offering free psycho-social advice and support services in Monheim am Rhein for around 40 years.
