The City’s Economic Development department is responsible, among other things, for support for existing businesses, consultancy on expansion, real estate services, permit management, development of commercial spaces and for the support of retail businesses.

• Company visits

• Checking possibilities for expansion on the current land
• Assessment of legal situation with regard to construction planning
• Surveying of neighboring plots of land
• Support for finding skilled labor

Real estate services

• Searching for suitable land – finding the right plot for the client’s needs and requirements
• Searching for suitable premises – finding an optimized selection of commercial real estate to match the client’s criteria
• Marketing of real estate – demand-based offers of commercial real estate

Permit management

• Consultancy before and during the permit process
• Preparation and coordination of talks with the (external) approving authorities
• Navigator role during the permit process

• Development of concepts for unutilized or prospective commercial land
